1. The Reference’s Role
Orem Residents Directory is a private reference to public rolls, record indexes, and historical collections related to Orem, Utah. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with any office, court, library, or records custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use the pages only in a lawful way. You may not use them, or information reached through them, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer Reporting Service
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). Nothing on these pages, including a result from a linked tool, is a consumer report or may be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Outside Links
Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, set their own rules and policies. We do not control their content, uptime, prices, or data practices.
5. No Warranty
The service is supplied “as is” and “as available,” without warranties. We do not promise that a page or linked portal is accurate, complete, current, available, or guaranteed to return a correct result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages connected with this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on a record located through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Copyright and Site Material
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a short, attributed passage is welcome. Republishing full pages or copying the material systematically is not.
9. Revisions
A revised version may be posted here at any time. Continued use after the change means the revised terms are accepted.
10. Access Restrictions
Access may be blocked or limited when a user violates these terms or abuses the service, at the operators’ discretion and without advance notice.
11. Governing Law
Utah law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. References to public access are informed by Utah’s Government Records Access and Management Act, Utah Code Title 63G, Chapter 2, including Sections 63G-2-201 through 63G-2-204.
12. Severability
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
